ASE test questions are written in workshops by experts in the subject matter of each specific test. These workshop teams represent a national cross-section of the motor vehicle service industry, including current technicians, training reps from auto manufacturers and aftermarket, customer service professionals and educators
Workshop Participation Commitment
ASE workshops are conducted virtually in Microsoft Teams. You will be expected to attend 20 hours of the virtual meeting (4 hours a day, Monday - Friday). An ASE Test Development facilitator will lead the meeting and will cover a task list review, educate the group on writing good ASE style questions and then have the group develop individual questions that the group will review as a team.
